the 1st of the 1st birthday parties

Do you ever take a picture thinking 

"ooo I'm gonna blog that!" and you end up never doing it and so it get's left behind?

Well here is one of my many left behinds

:)

When I was pregnant with Lola 2 of my good friends were pregnant too and we were all due the same day. So our little ones were all born within about a week of each other.

For their birthdays we decided to do a friend party and then everyone could have their separate family parties so we all wouldn't have to go to a bunch of parties.

 

We started by eating a super yummy dinner and played outside until the wind drove us inside. 

 

We headed in for some cake....

 

The kids helped blow out candles.....

 

and the babies enjoyed their cupcakes.....

 

And then we headed out for more swinging and playing......

 

Needless to say the party was a hit, with delicious food, yummy cake, and awesome company....
