Man it's been a while since I have done just a plain ol word blog. But thats what Im doin so deal ;)
I had one of my first public mommy of 2 experies the other day. It was weird. I feel like Im a pretty compitent mom for the most part but I realized that there are lots of things I haven't experienced.
Roman is pretty much potty trained - yay!! We were at the store shoppin just Rome, Lola & I when I heard "momma, I gotta go potty." oh no. How am I supposed to help my 3 year old go to the bathroom with stuff in my shopping cart and an infant in the car seat?? So we book it to the front of the store so we wouldnt have an accident and lo and behold it's closed for cleaning. So we head to the back. I take the car seat outta the cart, the diaper bag, grab the boys hand and head into the bathroom. phew! we made it!
You really don't think of simple things like that before kids, or even with just one kid. I can't imagine if I had more than that. Yikes!!

Hey Baby

This lil babe is gettin to stinkin big for momma's liking. I just love her! I feel so blessed to have not one but two kids that I just can't get enough of. She has already started laughing. Mostly only at Roman. She is always so smily and good tempered. mmm love love love!

Halloweener

Before bed the other night we tried givin Miss Monroe some rice cereal for the first time.

 I love her.

And then it went downhill from there. She couldn't stop gagging. 

But she didn't fool me, I think she liked it here and there :)

Im so lamely proud of myself. Thats what happens when I watch Studio 5 everyday, I finally put some of their cute ideas into action. Yeehaw.

Another year gone by without her. Hopefully one day I wont dread the month of October. But for now, Im glad the old "D-day" has passed. 

I know she loves me just as much as I love her. And she better miss me as much too :)

I am loving having a girl! My kids make me so stinkin happy. I love watchin them grow. I feel like I waited so long to get Lola and she is already growin up so fast, its makin me crazy! She is 8 weeks today!

I decided for the macro assignment to do my ring. It seems silly but I have never had a camera good enough to take a good pic of it till now - and I have been married for 4 years! But now I do and look how dirty it looks! ahh well it's been fun playin with my camera so any helpful tips would be great. But be gentle - Im a beginner and tender :)

Rome was nice enough to share his toys with Lola.

This is right before we went to the Dinosaur park in Ogden. Rome was so excited and had so much fun. We had a blast and Miss Monroe was an angel the entire time. Minus pooping her pants but hey, cant be helped.

This little guy scared Rome pretty good. He asked to go home when we got to this one. It was makin pretty scary noises so can't blame him, I was pretty terrified myself.

I am just so in love with this kid! 

Bee in the park

Rome, Lola and I went to the park with my sister Brein and her kids the other day. Rome had so much fun playing with James and trying to catch bugs. Lola and I on the other hand had a traumatic experience. Okay maybe just me, she slept through the whole thing. 

We were packin up to go when I looked down and saw a big fat hairy bumble bee in Lola's car seat with Lola in it! I didnt know what to do. I was too scared to smack it away and it was crawling all over. I tried swiping it away with my keys all they while screaming for 

Brein to come help me (she had gone to her car to load up). She came running over and told me to get Lola out. By this time the bee was crawling behind her and I didn't want her to squish him and have him get mad and sting. I managed to get her out without him stinging. Brein grabbed the car seat to get him out and found out I had done more damage to him with my keys than I thought. He was half dead not putting up a fight. Whew!!

The thought of my newborn getting stung upset me so bad I was shaking and crying. People probably thought she had stopped breathing with the scene I was making. I was pretty embarassed afterward - but Miss Monroe was safe :)

Fishin and whatnot

Soooo for some odd reason my husband decided to be adventurous and take Rome fishing up at white pine. Quite the feat carrying our almost 3 year old wiggly kid a combined 6 miles or so. My brother in law and nephew joined my boys and hopefully had some fun. 

This pic is in the wrong order - this is when we went to the fish hatchery with my sister and her family. It reminded me of the deer farm Homer took Bart to on the Simpsons :)

Life has been so different since Lola came around. At the same time it wouldn't be the same without her. I absolutely love being a mom and can't believe Im lucky enough to be a mom of 2 healthy kids :)
