Randomocity

So we got this new swingin motor home for a steal of a deal.
Haven't taken it out yet but a couple of weeks ago (yep I'm backtrack blogging :P) Nick was fixing this that or the other I don't really know and was letting the kids play inside it.
He left the door open but shut the screen door and lo and behold you know the Lola fell right on out of there. Poor little thing landed face first onto the step stool we had right outside the door.
I about died.
This was her first real accident. (and maybe just maybe she tumbled down the stairs like a professional circus act a couple of weeks later shhh)

(Right after the accident)

She was fine after a few minutes of crying but she was tender the rest of the night.

And now, she's walking!
Not a ton, but she does it.
When she did it, it was almost like she was showing me that she knew how but didn't always feel the need to prove herself after that :)

Sadly this summer we haven't done a lot.
It's hard gettin me out there when it's hot and I have to wrastle a baby anywhere we go.
You know when they are too little to do much at the park but they still wanna get down and eat everything? Ya, that's been Lola.
All. Summer. Long.

But now it's cooled off a little and we have tried to do more fun stuff.

We had our first little fishing trip of the summer the other night - so fun!

(Rome with the first fish of the night)

We brought along Tyller and the kids had almost as much fun as the adults ;)

Rome caught two and Nick and I each caught one.

They may or may not have been just teeny little baby nuggets that we threw back.

(my little baby fish I caught)

*I forgot my camera so these are phone shots - extraordinary I know :P*

(little buckets of crazy these two. Lola looks a little scary.)

I have been working at my brothers chiropractic office.
I have had so much fun! It's been so nice to get out and about and get myself back a little bit.
Unfortunately he let me go :(
Just teasin.
With Roman starting pre-school my schedule will be conflicting with my work schedule so we thought it best if they found someone who lived closer (I drive 1/2 hr to get there and that was a conflicting factor too) and who was better looking. :P

I'm sad to be done.
I don't like to disappoint but I'll be glad to be back home with my kids. :)

So I cut my hair.
I mean really cut it off.

I was too harsh when I went blond last time and all my hair busted off in the front and I had a full on mullet. So I went back dark and chopped off most the damage and here I sit lookin like Peter flippin Pan.
;) My sister did an excellent job cutting my hair I just have issues lol.
So I promised myself I'd baby the crap out of it and let it grow back and to not ever, ever, EVER cut it all off again.

We went swimming last night.
It was great until after everyone was dried off ready to head out Roman and his cousin Tyller took off running and he full on jumped into the deep end and began flayling about until Uncle Chris caught up to them and scooped him out.
Nice way to try to earn some street cred Rome.
Although we did have one friend say "your kid is awesome!"

Why yes, yes he is. :P

My gosh friend, if you didn't blog I would have never known Ben fired you! Whoa!! Lol, how did you get Lola's skin so smooth on that first pic, so pretty! Also I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess it was Westover that said your kid is awesome. ;) Thanks for blogging!! The blog world is a whole lot less lonely now!

Close, but nope, it was Chase! I used the sunlight filter on Lola's pic. That one only works good if there are hints of sunlight. And thanks for the comment! :)
