Last night my husband got to witness for the first time, my baby behavior when I eat something hot.
I have managed to stay away from anything super hot since the time I tried Tobasco sauce in high school.
So I picked up these funky mushroom things filled with spinach, tomatoes, & feta cheese from Smiths the other night. Thought Nick would like them. Thought I'd try one.
Nick cooked em up last night, ate his said it was great but I was too busy to eat mine till later.
Soooo on my way to go upstairs to get ready for bed I see my food sitting there, oh crap I'll hurry and try a few bites.
First bite, had a zing to it, second bite......
MOTHER OF MERCY!
I bit into something so hot!
I spit it out, & all I know is that it was green. No idea what it was.
The left side of my tongue, cheek and throat were on fire!!!
I sat there with my mouth hanging open, Roman asking if I was okay, when I finally choked out....
"Nick! Nick!"
He comes running in, "what?! What happened? Did you bite your tongue?!"
All I can say is, "It hurts so bad! Oh my gosh! It's so freakin hot!"
Nick: "Are you freakin kidding me?" and then he stands there and laughs while I beg for help and try not to cry.
What does he hand me to help? peanut m&ms and tells me to drink milk.
It went away after peanut m&ms, a huge glass of milk, & a granola bar.
I told you I was a baby.
The culprit.

i'm kind of laughing over this one too... :) milk always helps a burning tongue.
LOLOL! That is hilarious! Us Jensen kids do NOT take spice well AT ALL. It's really sad and a little embarrassing. Last night we ate some Nally's Chilli and I was like... "Whoa this is HOT." It's pretty sad cause I used to eat it all the time back in the day with no problems, here I thought I was getting better with spice but really I'm so much worse.
Thank YOU for blogging lately... it makes my day!
I am reading this article second time today, you have to be more careful with content leakers. If I will fount it again I will send you a link
Oh shoot! Not funny for him to laugh at you. I love spicy but Jason usually tests it first to see if it's too spicy for me.
