Ahh finally a chance to update my beloved blog. Life is goin really good :) I had a hard time adjusting to bein a stay at home mom at first, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything. Rome and I have such a good time together and I love that kid so stinkin much it's hard not to have fun with him.
I have 5 weeks till Lola comes! Im terrified! Scared to go have her, scared to have her home and get back into baby mode. I feel like whatever stage Im at with Rome its all I know how to do. BUT, I can't wait to hold her and kiss her and smell her newborn skin and all that fun stuff :)
Her nursery is almost done. almost. Still got some decorating to do but the painting is all done, the crib is ready to be assembled and I have almost everything I need. I have been painting some picture frames and the other day Rome decided to help and pour paint onto the carpet in her room, and paint himself, AND after all was said and done he tried to clean it up and smeared it in even worse. He was upstairs for 2 minutes I swear!! I was really proud of how I handled it though because I didn't cry :) And Im not even that upset. We need to carpet in there anyway. So when Nick got home I took him up to show him and Rome ran in first, stood there with arms open wide and said "Ta Da! Happy Birthday!"
