We are still here! I have not posted in a while because I got laid off from my job. No worries, I was planning on quitting when the babe got here :) Now I have the summer to play with Rome without having to worry about going to work. We don't have the internet at home (yet) because we have never needed it because I had a killer computer at work that I was able to use all the time. Sooo we'll be gettin that hooked up so I won't leave my faithful followers feeling empty ;) lol okay so I have no idea who really even reads my blog. I have wanted to get one of those tracking thingys but I know i'd get my feelings hurt if like no one ever came lol.
Anywho life has been....interesting since being laid off. Im having a hard time adjusting. I only worked 3 days a week but going from that to nothing is so weird! I have been working since Rome was like 10 months so we are getting into our own groove now. I had an amazing daycare lady who took care of him for me while I was working and I thought that would be the saddest part of it all, him not getting to see her. But, it hasn't been as bad as I thought :) I thought after a few days he would be begging for Gina time but nope! Being home all day everyday when Rome was a baby was so different from what it is like now. I love it, at the same time, it's exhausting! Im really glad I didn't get laid off during the winter or I know I would have been really depressed.
So Rome and I are getting into our own routine (he now takes naps for me, yay!) and it's been interesting. I have never been a domestic person so it's been a challenge. I need to take pride in what I do all day I think. I have so many projects I need to tackle but haven't even though I have all the time in the world, mainly getting Lola's room ready but I totally lost my mojo on that for now. If I clean the house - it doesn't matter, if I don't clean the house - it doesn't matter. See why Im having a tough time getting stuff done? Because It doesn't matter. BUT Im determined to get goin! It's been 3 weeks already, time to jump in full force and get domesticated! No more excuses! No more, "I don't wanna make dinner since I have been at work all day". I have no excuses. It's scary, but it had to happen sometime!
Everything with the baby is goin really good. She is 2 lbs, 1 ounce already. Im almost 27 weeks, I can't believe it! She moves around like a mad woman, leaving me feeling bruised and sick to my stomach a lot of the time but that's better than nothing! We are really excited to get her here. Just had an ultrasound the other day and she looks so much like Rome its crazy. Speaking of Rome, he is doin really good too. He is obsessed with dinosaurs, and robots "boop boop bots" and I think he is havin a fun time bein with me all day.
Anyway just thought I'd hurry and update while I had a chance and I hope everything with all our friends is going well too!!

After a big change like that it takes a while to get into a new routine and get going on things you may not be used to. When Kristofor lost his job it took a good month until we got used to things being different. Your mojo will come.
And remember, whenever you need someone to paint, I'm there.
Hey Madi! I don't think I have been on your blog before, but found you through Becky. You will definitely get your mojo back. When I quit my job to only work from home the same thing happened it me. It was way weird, but you figure it out.
So fun that you are having a girl! :)
