Ah Peach Days.
Every year our city has "Peach Days".
It used to be a day that everyone would take off from the peach harvest to celebrate and eat peachy things (that's my amazing interpretation)
But now days it's basically parades, booths, carnival, and amazing food for 2 days.
I LOVE it!
We kicked off Friday night with the kiddie parade
*ah yes love the dirty face*
Then we headed off to a couple of rides
*yep, she cried almost the whole time so that was the first and only ride she went on :)
Then we finished off with booths.
The next morning was the 'real' parade
After the parade the boys headed off to the car show while Lola and I went home for her nap.
Afterward we met up with a couple of my sisters and took the kids on more rides.

they were being sooo cute and tender hugging and playing.
We finished the night with more amazing food and hit the booths.
For 2 days the city is consumed with festivities. I have a hard time not feeling left out when I'm not up partyin it up with everyone. :P
But kids gotta sleep and momma's gotta rest.
This year I discovered my love for funnel cake so I already can't wait for next year!

I have to admit I don't really like Peach Days. I really like a couple of things and then I really wish the rest of it would leave! But man o man the fresh fruit pies (or tarts) holy crap they are one of the greatest things to happen all year long!
Peach Days is my Christmas! Lola looks so cute with daddy's hat. I had to miss lots this year cuz baby was only 7 days old and my body wouldn't keep up with me. I've never tried funnel cake... :(
